The first-ever ASC Has Talent competition kicked off on Tuesday, August 27th, in French Lick during the opening day of the ASC company retreat.This live event was the grand finale of a series of auditions that revealed an astonishing array of hidden talents within our company.We are skilled at caring for seniors, but who knew some of us were so talented?The large conference hall was filled with an audience of ASC community and home office leaders.

Hosts Jeremiah Dyer and Tim Carter kept the energy high throughout the night, bantering back and forth between two stages.Community recognition awards were mixed in with the ASC Has Talent performances, adding to the excitement.Contestants Take the StageDaSean Wilson: A housekeeper from Clinton Gardens, opened the show and set a high bar with his rendition of If I Cant Love Her from Beauty and the Beast.The audience fell silent the moment he began, captivated by his powerful voice and stage presence.Lanny Ferguson: Transportation Director for Danville Regional Rehab, brought a touch of country to the evening with his performance of Kansas City.

Not only did he sing in smooth, charming style, but he also played both the guitar and the harmonica.Lanny proved to be a true one-man band, displaying his versatile musical talents.Hannah Adkins: A CNA from Springhill Village, left everyone breathless with her high-energy dance performance to Salt Shaker.Her impressive moves, level of physical fitness, and sheer ability to move in so many directions left many jaws on the floor.

Hannahs dynamic dance skills were a standout, proving her to be a force on the stage.Alondra Ulloa: A CNA from Eastgate Manor, wowed the crowd with her powerful performance of Dont Stop Believing by Journey.The audience cheered as she effortlessly hit those challenging high notes, all while stunning in a black, crystal-embellished evening gown.After that performance, we were all believers in Alondras talent!Elizabeth Le: A Physical Therapist from Seymour Crossing, mesmerized the audience with her clogging routine to Honey Im Good by Andy Grammer.

She kept perfect rhythm, lighting up the dance floor while the audience clapped and tapped along with her.It was impossible to stay still while watching Elizabeths lively performance.Hannah Sparks: The final performer of the evening as the Director of Marketing and Admissions at Allisonville Meadows.Hannah delivered a soulful performance with her interpretation of Tennessee Whiskey by Chris Stapleton to a huge round of applause.And the winner is After the final performance, the audience voted through a digital voting system.

As all six contestants stood on stage, the results were announced.DaSean Wilsons stellar performance earned him the first-place title and award! Hannah Sparks was a close second and received the First Runner-Up recognition.What a night for these amazing talents who took the stage to share their gifts.

They were all winners and left with an experience theyll never forget.The camaraderie between the contestants was truly heartwarming.From behind the black velvet curtains, they cheered each other on, forming new friendships based on their shared experience as performers.It was an evening to remember for everyone and we will certainly be looking forward to AHT 2025!Sharing our personal talents offers a deeper glimpse into who we are as people.
